Prevail Standard Cloud Connection - Android
Prevail Standard Cloud Connection: Android iOS 13 or Later
To begin the process of accessing the Prevail Cloud though the Android iOS, go into the Google Play Store and search for “Remote Desktop Mobile”.
Once the “Remote Desktop Mobile” app has been downloaded onto the smart device. Please download the zip folder provided attached to the email.
Once the zip file has been downloaded to the smart device, access the item by clicking on the yellow file folder within the device.
Click on downloads on the left side of the screen and look for the zip file that was downloaded from the supplied email. Once the zip file is found, unpack the file by tapping on it.
Once file has been unzipped, there will be a folder provided. Tap on the folder and inside of the folder there will be 9 items provided.
Please keep this file of 9 items installed on your device, this is how you will be logging into the smart device for future work sessions.
To get started, click on any one of the 9 items.
“Remote Desktop” will refresh on the screen and then prompt for a username and password. You will use the same User Name and Password that was provided for you for the desktop cloud launcher. There will be no special credentials needed in this instance.
Upon Successful login, select “Never ask again for connections to the PC.” Then click Connect.
In our example we are now accessing Adobe through the cloud. To open additional apps, swipe up towards the bottom of bottom of the device screen.
In our next example we will be opening Prevail. Swipe up and click on yellow file icon within the bottom navigation menu. Select Prevail within the files list. Wait a couple of seconds and the Prevail Case Management Software splash screen will load.
To jump back to Adobe or additional applications click on the white circle at the top center of the screen.
(Note to open word, excel, outlook, and any of the other items not shown in the guide, you will have to surf back to the applications within the yellow file folder and pick the desired software.)
You will be repeating the same steps of clicking the desired item within the files list and waiting a few moments for the screen to appear within Remote Desktop.
To end your work session, select “Disconnect All App Sessions”
