Welcome to Prevail 10! We have been working tirelessly to ensure innovation and progress for our software, and providing you with optimal efficiency for your firm. Here’s a quick guide of what to expect with the newest version of Prevail:
We’ve added many new features to your day to day features in Prevail:
Tab | Function | Instructions/Details |

Process Tab | Task Grid | This will split up steps and tasks in the process tab; helps visualize tasks associated with process steps. |
Task List | Task List Filtering | Added the ability to filter the task list in the calendar by -Completed/Uncompleted/ -Open/Closed -Matter/Prospect. |
System-wide | Refresh Button | Refresh button added to the system. |
System-wide | Search Option | Search option added to tabs to search within that tab. |
System-wide | Export Button | This will export your grids to Excel, exactly as they appear on the screen in Prevail. |
History Tab | View Attachments Button | Opens attachments for an entry that you have highlighted. |
History Tab | View Button on History | Opens the History entry that you have highlighted. |
History Tab | Options Button | The options have been condensed down. Example: Instead of having an option for ‘Display Tasks Created’ and ‘Display Tasks Complete,’ you now just select ‘Display Tasks’. |
Home Tab | Statute Warnings; View Button | Takes you to the Matter for that Statute |
Medical Tab | Medical History and Medical Records Tabs | When clicked on, you will see two tabs on the screen: Medical History and Medical Records. This is for the Medical Record Retrieval integration. |
Matter Tab | Communication Type Tabs | If you select a related party on the tree and look to the right where their phone numbers and email are listed, you will see added tabs for the specific communication type (All, Phone, Email, Web). |
Databank | Subjects Customization | Subjects can now be added based on tab/function (appointment, Damages, History, Tasks, etc.) |
Tools Menu | Email Add-in | You can now add the Email Add-in under Tools. |
Medical Tab | Medical Providers Tree | A new medical tree on the Medical tab will list all Med Providers attached. From this tree, you can click on a medical provider to filter just their treatments and add treatments from there. |
Help/About | Feature Information | Will now show features that are turned on for the client (Lead Imports, Atlasware, Medical Records, etc.). |
Help/About | Twilio/Texting Integration | Access your Twilio number. |
Document Designer | Import Button - Add your existing document templates to Prevail. | a. Click on the import button b. Select the document you want to add c. Assign a document type. |
Some capabilities have been removed for various reasons, whether they were moved to a different place in Prevail, or removed altogether to ensure smoother usage of the program:
Matter Tab - Removed the contact information grid from the matter tab to speed up loading of the matter tab.
Matter Tab - Removed the medical grid in Medical Providers to speed up the loading of the matter tab, entries should be done in the medical tab but it will automatically attach medical providers to matters.
Matter Tab - Removed the evidence grid in Evidence types to speed up the loading of the matter tab, entries should be done in the evidence tab but it will automatically attach evidence types to matters.
Matter Tab - Removed the employment grid under Employer records to speed up the loading of the matter tab, entries should be done in the employment tab but it will automatically attach employers to matters.
Matter tab - Current Claim step
History Tab - Removed the type “Attachment” from history entries as it provided unconcise information in regards to entries that had an actual attachment in an entry. This would only limit that to history entries. By using the paperclip you can see all the different entries that have attachments (i.e. medical, employment, etc.)
File/User Settings - the scaling option.
File/User Setting - Color categories is no longer an option under User Settings.
You can select this on individual tabs under Options.
Calendar - Day, Week and Month View the button to ‘Change Users’ which gave you the option to ‘Add User’ and ‘Assign to User'.
