Creating an RDP app

To create an easily accessible app for the cloud desktop on your local desktop:

  1. After entering the computer you want to connect to and user name with ‘Show Options’ selected and ‘Allow me to save credentials checked’, select ‘Save As…’                                     

     

  2. Now navigate to your desktop in file explorer and give it a name such as ‘Prevail Cloud Desktop’ or ‘Prevail Cloud.’

  3. When you launch it for the first time, after entering your credentials and selecting ‘Remember me’, you’ll be directed to a screen similar to the following. Check off ‘Don’t ask me againfor connections to this computer’ and click ‘Yes’                

     

Next time you select the app, it won’t prompt for any of these unless password saving isn’t allowed on your doman.
