Editing & Uploading Briefs to the Assure Hearings Tab

To upload an amended brief to Assure’s hearing documents

WARNING: If Assure attorney is covering the hearing associated with a brief Assure has written, follow the steps below.

that an Assure attorney writefor your firmIf you choose to edit the brief after reviewing it you can do so and upload the amended brief to the Brief Uploads using the “Upload new file” button . Go to the “Case Details” page for that claimant and use the ERE uploader to send it to SSA ERE.

DO NOT TRY TO UPLOAD BRIEFS FROM THE BRIEF DETAILS SCREEN TO THE ERE. This is a bit confusing, but this upload only loads documents to THIS location on the Assure site…NOT the ERE.

To get to Assure’s ERE uploader

  1. Go to “All Cases” screen.

  2. Click on the claimant’s name.

  3. Click on “ERE Uploads.”

  4. Click on “Upload to ERE.”

NOTE: To upload any document, including briefs you must do so using the ERE Uploader.

You can browse for files or drag and drop your file

Choose the document type and complete the applicable radio buttons associated with that document type will open (pictured below)

 

Click Upload X File(s) and those files will upload - first to Assure, then to the ERE. After the file(s) have been uploaded to the ERE, it will be listed with your other ERE uploads you have made for this claimant and the All Documents view as well.

To view upload information, click the button shown below.

Once confirmation opens, click the “Download Confirmation” button to save/print.
