Assure Briefs

  1. To request Assure write a brief for you, press the “Request Brief” from the case details page or from the “All Cases” or “Scheduled Hearing” pages by clicking on “Actions”, “Request Brief.”

  2. It will ask you the due date for the brief. Make sure the due date is 7-10 days from the date you need the brief, so our team has a chance to complete the brief.

If you request Assure writes the brief for you, when it is done it will be on the brief’s page with a status of “Completed.”

  1. To view the brief, Click the “page icon.” This will take you to the Brief Details screen. Go the section titled “Brief Uploads.”

  1. You can find your completed brief under the Brief uploads section of the Brief Details page. Click on the file name to view the brief.

  2. After you have edited it, you have read it, saved it to your hard drive and you are ready to upload it- go to the “Case Details” page for that claimant and use the ERE uploader to send it to SSA ERE.

  3. DO NOT TRY TO UPLOAD IT FROM THE BRIEF DETAILS SCREEN. This is a bit confusing, but this upload only loads documents to THIS screen…NOT the ERE.

To get to Assure’s ERE Uploader

  1. Go to “All Cases” screen

  2. Click on the claimant’s name.

  3. Click on “ERE Uploads”

  4. Click on “Upload to ERE”

You have to upload briefs written by Assure YOURSELF to the ERE using the ERE Uploader.
