Instructions

To use the Prevail Connector:

  1. The ‘Link’ button is located at the top of nearly all data entry windows in Prevail

    1. This button opens the Prevail Connector

    2. NOTE: This allows you to link multiple related entries together into a single package so that you can access any of them without having to search multiple parts of the program.

  2. To link multiple pieces of work product together, first create the initial entry. Before saving the entry, open the Connector menu.

    1. Select the other entries you'd like to link to the first one. This can be done with multiple entries.

    2. Once the "Link" and "create task link" is selected, this will save the original entry and add the task.

    3. Notice now that there are now TWO tabs on this History entry. Whether you go to the calendar and open the task, or the history tab and open the phone call entry, you'll have access to both in one place.

    4. Note: The subject line of the added linked entry will be the same as the subject for the original entry. You may change the subject if needed.

      Also note: Linking an email to another email is the equivalent of forwarding that email, but none of the other linked items will be included.
