The Prevail Databank is the home of all of the lists or drop downs that reside in various parts of the program. The Databank is essentially a “list of lists.” For example, the Databank allows you to control the list that contains all of your choices for appointment types (e.g., training, meeting)
Note: You will need security access to be able to modify the databank, security is set under the Administration, Employee Setup option.
Note: Not all drop-down menus in Prevail are user-definable, some lists are definable only by our technical support staff. If you have any questions, please call the Prevail training department.

Click Under Administration >Databank.Using , you'll find the list of different databank items listed on the left side of the Databank window, choose the list that you want to modify.
To add a new entry
Click ‘Add’ at the top of the window
Enter a description of the new entry.
Click ‘Save’.
To delete an entry
Highlight the entry that you want to delete.
Click ‘Delete’ at the top of the window.
Confirm the deletion by clicking ‘Delete’ again.
To modify an entry
Highlight the entry that you want to modify.
Enter a new description in the ‘Description’ field.
Click ‘Save’As you click on each list item, you'll see what databank items you already have setup.
If you need additional items to display in the drop downs throughout Prevail, you click on the 'add' option and populate the fields that are displayed.
Depending on the type of item that you are adding to, there may be more than one field to populate.
For example, if you click on Appointments and add, you will be prompted to add a description for the appointment type, you can also assign an image and or color.
Note: Not all drop-down menus in Prevail are user definable. Some of the lists that reside in Prevail are definable only by our technical support staff. If you have questions about a list that you do not see in the Databank, please contact Prevail support.
