This How-to covers creating a new Evidence entry.

Instructions

  1. Click ‘New’ om the Prevail toolbar

  2. Select Evidence

    1. OR Click ‘Add’ from the Evidence tab

  3. Select the desired category

  4. Click the paper clip and select the appropriate Contact from whom the Evidence is being collected.

  5. Change the type, if needed, in the Attach Type drop-down list.

  6. If there is a cost associated with the evidence

    1. Enter it in the Bill field.

    2. Click the ‘Ledger Cost’ box.

    3. Select the appropriate cost category from the dropdown list.

    4. Click the ‘Pay to the Order’ field to attach the party who will be paid.

  7. If there is damage directly associated with the evidence

    1. Enter it in the Bill field.

    2. Check the ‘Damage’ box

    3. Select the appropriate damage category

  8. Enter additional details into the Notes field.

  9. Click ‘Save’
