Download from Cases Screen

Find claimant, enter the first 5 of the SSN, then  click "Actions" next to the claimant's name.  Next click "Get case file", and choose either the "Exhibited File" or the "All Case Files” from the drop down option. 

NOTE: The Exhibited file will be downloaded by default. When you choose the All file to be downloaded, the Exhibited file will be downloaded based on Assure’s download schedule.

  • Exhibit files will contain jurisdictional documents and notices, non disability developmental information, decision documents and medical records  relevant to your case.

  • All file will include all Exhibited files the SSA chooses as well as any case documents that they choose not to exhibit, i.e. earnings reports etc. 

Choose the file to be downloaded & click Queue Download

File will be downloaded and viewable on the cases screen, in the hearing details, case details and shown in the Case File Downloads tab. 

Files are downloaded from ERE and processed (OCR, Pagination & Indexing). Depending on file size, the OCR process may take longer than you need to view the files.  Access is available as soon as the file has been downloaded. This file will not have some of the key features (word search, indexing) but available to view during the file processing as indicated below.

Completed files can be accessed through several locations. Search the claimant via the All Cases or any of the assorted filters on the left hand navigation.

Click the Exhibited or All link to download the file from the Assure server to your local machine

This option will generally open in the lower left corner, or open on your screen as you choose to download the file. The file will open in PDF
