Accessing the medical records your firm has processing is a few clicks away.
This is a very useful view of all medical records your firm has ordered. You see an overview of requests in progress, completed and if any records are suspended by Release Point that require your action. You can sort and filter by status, date, claimant etc.
Instructions
Click the Medical Records on the left-side navigation
This will open your view of all ongoing medical records for the date range selected.
NOTE: These statuses will be live and constantly updated as the order is completed by Release Point.
In Progress: RP is working the request. Likely waiting on the provider, RP is doing it’s follow-up etc.
In QC: Records have been delivered to RP and the QC team is reviewing the contents, scope and organizing the records per client specs.
Received: Records have been delivered from the provider, BUT PRIOR TO QC. If files are downloaded and uploaded to ERE prior to QC - it is as the risk of the firm as they have not been through the Release Point QC process.
Completed: Records are through QC and delivered to client for upload to the ERE
Cancelled: Cancelled by the client
Suspended: RP has hit a roadblock of some sort (need facility specific HIPAA, fees are too high – over limit set at on-boarding, no records found for that time frame etc.) and needs the user to address ASAP. This allows RP to continue with the retrieval.
In Field: **California Only** Employee field reps physically go to the provider to obtain recordsf
NOTE: Suspended records should be addressed in a timely manner to resolve any issues as to ensure no cycle times are not impacted. Preferably the same day.
