Prevail 10 E-Training*: Disabilities Tab

The Disabilities tab allows you to track any ailments your client has, including specific information relevant to the claim such as severity and limitations. This tab also has a place to type what the claimant says about these ailments, and how it affects their livelihood; a vital piece of information to win benefits for the claimant.

Part 1: Adding Ailments

  1. (top section) Click Add

Fill out the following fields:

Note: The only required fields are Client and Subject.

Use the dropdown to select the client, or whomever this entry pertains to

This will automate to the client. If you are adding this entry for the client, no action is needed.

Subject

Type the ailment here, or use the dropdown to select a pre-filled ailment

This dropdown can be customized in the databank. For more information, see Prevail 10 E-Training*: Databank

Severity

Use the dropdown to select the severity of this ailment for the claimant.

Set to be on a scale of 1-10.

This can be customized from the databank. For more information, see Prevail 10 E-Training*: Databank.

Duration

Specify how long the claimant has had this ailment.

Text field; enter any necessary information.

Work Load

Use the dropdown to select the claimant's work load during this ailment.

Options: Full Duty, Light Duty, No Work.

Limitations

Specify the limitations the client faces while enduring this ailment

Text field, type whatever you need.

Treatment

Describe treatment claimant has undergone pertaining to this ailment.

*Remember the Medical Tab will describe treatment and doctor’s visits in more detail. You can be broad in this field.

Part 2: Claimant’s Description of Disabilities

  1. Type anything you’d like in this text box that you feel is relevant to the ailments above, and the claimant’s view on their disabilities. This should be used as a way to clearly indicate the client’s state of mind as it pertains to their disabilities and overall quality of life.

  2. Click Save
